Abstract:
Annotation: This article examines the phenomenon of street photography as a unique method of perceiving reality. It analyzes the camera's role in developing observation skills and the genre's ability to discover aesthetic value in everyday situations—urban rain, the morning coffee ritual, and the spontaneous emotions of passersby. Based on an analysis of the practice of recognized masters of the genre, three components of an artistically significant photograph are identified: moment, light, and contrast. It concludes that the appeal of street photography stems from its dual nature—the accessibility of the material and the profound practice of mindfulness, which transforms a person are visual thinking.
